Understanding Hate Crime

Please use the form below to sign up to this accredited 'understanding hate crime' training. This is a free of charge one-day training course for staff and volunteers at faith and/or civil society groups in Newham.

Training will take place 10am - 5pm at a convienent location in Newham (to be confirmed after registration). All food and refreshments for the day will be included.

The training will cover:

- Hate crime laws

- The impact of hate crime on victims, witnesses, and communities
- How and where people can report
- The value of reporting
- How to support victims

This level 2 course will be run by leading experts in understanding and preventing hate crime across the UK. Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate accredited by a leading national awarding organisation as proof of your achievement and competency. Download the flyer here.
